Speaker Introduction

Graduated from the Fu Jen Catholic University’s Department of Food and Nutrition Sciences in Taiwan, and completed the 2-year in-service training of EMBA program at CEIBS in Shanghai, China. Since 1983 worked as the Purchasing Assistant with concurrent charge of establishing McDonald’s Taiwan Warehouse/Distribution & Food Processing Center, then switched to the company’s restaurant aspect of operation and underwent several times of advanced studies at the McDonald’s Hamburger University, subsequently in charge of the holistic training of employees of restaurant operation until departed. From1994 till 2009, constructed the purchasing and logistic system in China for the Yum! Brands Inc. Responsibility included all-around development strategy as well as the establishment of leadership logistic network to ensure satisfactory logistic support to the company’s over 4,000 restaurants. The main project management consisted of strategic network mapping analysis, assessment and planning of operating system, etc. As a result steps could be taken to materialize the proportional transportation outsourcing that enabled the company to strike optimal balance among “service, quality, and cost” in term of the integral operation SOP throughout the 16 logistic centers over the seven regions all over China. Joined BreadTalk in 2010 as COO to pioneer brand developing for Carl’s JR. in China. 2012 set in movement for Pousheng International its logistic integration and standardization of operations. During 1991 to 1994, responsible for the business development of international market for Taiwan Warehouse Equipment Co. Ltd., engaged in regional business developing and machine trading for American and European brand promotion in field of warehouse/logistics equipments. Firstly, set up LASCO (Logistic Automation System Co.) in Hong Kong, designating local dealer/distributor in Singapore and Malaysia. And, simultaneously found representative offices in Beijing and Shanghai, to accomplish “Turn-key projects” for big state-owned enterprises and joint ventures through assisting them in investing warehouse/logistic equipments and in building after-sales service system. Then, annual profits of millions US dollars were scored.
